브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국회는 21일 이재명 더불어민주당 대표의 체포동의안을 가결했다.
국회는 이날 오후 본회의를 열고 이재명 대표에 대한 체포동의안 표결을 한 결과, 재적 의원 298명 중 295명이 출석했고, 찬성 149명, 반대 136명, 기권 6명, 무효 4명으로 가결했다.
재적 의원 과반 출석에 출석 의원 과반(148명)이라는 의결정족수를 1명 차이로 간신히 넘기며 결국 통과됐다.
총 167석을 가진 민주당 내 비명(이재명)계에서 무더기 이탈표가 나왔기 때문에 결국 체포동의안이 가결된 것으로 보인다.
단식까지 하며 검찰 수사에 대한 부당성을 호소해온 이재명 대표는 체포동의안이 국회를 통과하면서 리더십은 물론 정치적으로 최대 위기를 맞이하게 됐다.
또한 민주당 역시 향후 친명과 비명간 당내 갈등은 더욱 심화될 것으로 보인다. 내년 총선을 앞두고 ‘방탄국회 프레임’은 일단 해소가 됐지만 찬성표를 던진 의원이 누구인지 색출하는 과정에서 당 내홍은 불가피할 것으로 분석된다.
