브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 한국수력원자력이 국민을 상대로 소송을 남발하고 있다는 지적이 제기됐다.
25일 박영순 더불어민주당 의원이 한국수력원자력으로부터 제출받은 자료에 따르면 최근 5년 간 한수원이 제기해 마무리된 121 건의 소송 중 승소 건수는 32%인 39 건에 그쳤으며 전부 승소한 건은 21건에 불과했다.
소송 결과를 세부적으로 살펴보면, 소 취하 58 건, 강제조정 3 건, 패소 16 건, 승소 21 건, 화해권고결정 5 건, 일부 승소 18 건이다.
이중 최종심까지 진행된 19건은 9건이 한수원의 패소로 끝났고 승소한 건은 5건 , 일부승소가 5건이다.
특히 한수원이 승소한 소송 중 7 건의 경우에도 소송비용이 소송 가액보다 많았다. 소송 비용이 소송 가액보다 많다는 것은 승소를 했어도 실익은 없고 결국 경제적으로는 손실을 봤다는 의미이다.
이에 박영순 의원은 “공기업이 국민과 기업을 상대로 제기하는 소송은 신중해야 한다” 라며 “소송남용은 소송상대방에게 경제적 · 정신적 피해를 주는 행위이며 최종심까지 가는 경우 소송기간이 평균 3 년이 넘어 소송상대방의 피해는 더욱 심각하다” 라고 지적했다.
