브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 미국의 항공모함과 함께 최신 무기를 가득 실은 비행기가 이스라엘에 도착했다는 외신 보도가 나왔다.
10일(현지시간) 뉴욕타임스에 따르면 이스라엘 국방군(,IDF)의 다니엘 하가리 대변인은 이스라엘의 남부 네게브 사막에 있는 이스라엘군의 네바팀 공군기지에 최신 무기를 실은 미국 비행기가 착륙했다고 발표했다.
또한 같은 날 미국의 항공모함 타격단(CSG) 소속의 항모 USS 제럴드 R.포드호가 지중해 동부에 도착했다.
세계 최대 핵추진 항공모함인 USS 제럴드 R. 포드 항모 타격 그룹은 항모 1척, 유도 미사일 순양함 1척, 유도 미사일 구축함 4척이 포함됐다.

아울러 로이드 오스틴 미 국방장관은 이스라엘 인근에 위치한 미 공군 F-35, F-15, F-16, A-10 전투기 편대를 증강하는 조치도 취했다면서 군수품 역시 이스라엘측에 제공할 것이라고 했다.
이같은 조치는 조 바이든 미국 대통령이 베냐민 네타냐후 이스라엘 총리에게 "이스라엘 방위군에 대한 지원을 할 것이며 앞으로 며칠 안에 더 많은 지원이 이어질 것"이라고 밝히면서다.
토니 블링컨 미국 국무장관도 오는 12일 직접 이스라엘을 방문해 전쟁 지원 방안을 논의할 예정이다.
