브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 대우건설은 대우건설 대학생 홍보대사(대대홍)가 정대우 굿즈 제작·판매 활동으로 얻은 수익금 1076만8222원 전액을 장애인 복지 단체인 ‘따뜻한동행’에 기부한다고 24일 밝혔다.
지난 23일 월요일 오후 을지로 대우건설 본사에서 개최된 기부 행사에는 따뜻한동행의 이광재 상임이사, 대우건설 서희종 경영지원담당 상무, 정대우 과장, 대대홍 20기 활동자 등이 참석했다.
2010년에 설립된 사회복지법인 따뜻한동행은 장애인을 위한 다양한 지원을 하는 순수 비영리 단체다. 대우건설이 전달한 기부금은 장애 특성을 고려해 장애인의 생활공간을 개선하는 사업에 사용된다.
올해 활동한 대대홍 20기는 정대우 트래블 패키지(레디백, 워시백, 커스텀 네임택), 정대우 Home Bar 패키지(소맥잔, 병따개, 코스터) 등 대학생들의 참신한 아이디어에서 비롯된 총 17종의 상품들을 선보였다.
대대홍은 제작 상품들을 2023 캐릭터 라이선싱 페어 현장과 크라우드펀딩 사이트인 텀블벅에서 판매했으며, 해당 수익금은 전액 기부를 통해 유종의 미를 거두게 됐다.
대우건설 관계자는 “이번 굿즈 판매 수익금 기부는 친근하고 정겨운 정대우 캐릭터와 대대홍 활동자들의 열정과 노력이 시너지를 이뤄 만들어낸 결과물”이라며 “앞으로도 대대홍과 함께 회사의 아이덴티티를 살릴 수 있는 다양한 활동을 기획해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
