[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 거창사과 융복합공간 ‘G-애플’이 재개장해 운영 중이라고 31일 밝혔다.

‘사과의 모든 것 세계 속의 거창사과’를 표어로 지난 2월 문을 연 G-애플은 운영자 변경 등 내부 사정으로 8월 말부터 임시휴업에 들어간 후 새롭게 문을 열었다.

G-애플은 거창사과 융복합 기반구축을 위해 사과 관련 제품을 가공, 판매, 체험하는 복합공간으로 올해 약 2만명의 방문객이 다녀갔으며 방문객의 70% 이상이 관외 주민으로 거창사과 홍보에 큰 역할을 하고 있다.

신규 운영업체인 김정오 월천권역영농조합 대표는 “30년간 거창에서 사과농사를 지어 왔고 사과명인으로서 G-애플 운영 활성화에 큰 책임을 느낀다”며 “거창사과의 명성을 드높일 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
