브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 검찰이 '2021년 더불어민주당 전당대회 돈 봉투 살포' 의혹과 관련해 임종성, 허종식 더불어민주당 의원에 대한 압수수색을 실시했다.
서울중앙지검 반부패수사2부(부장검사 최재훈)는 2일 두 의원의 주거지 및 국회 의원회관 내 사무실 등에 검사와 수사관을 보내 압수수색을 진행하고 있다고 밝혔다.
검찰 수사에 따르면 지난 20201년 4월 28일 임종성, 허종식 의원과 이성만 무소속(당시 민주당) 의원은 국회 외교통상위원회 소회의실에서 열린 국회의원 모임에서 윤관석 무소속(당시 민주당) 의원에게 300만원이 담긴 돈 봉투를 받은 혐의를 받고 있다. 당시 외통위원장은 송영길 전 민주당 대표였다.
검찰은 윤관석 의원이 2021년 4월28~29일 약 20명의 자당 의원 약 20명에게 300만원이 든 돈봉투를 살포한 것으로 보고 있다.
