경주시의회 의원연구단체, 정책연구용역 최종보고회 개최

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회 의원연구단체 ‘신라역사문화권 초광역사업 발굴을 위한 연구모임’은지난 24일 오후 의회 소회의실에서 ‘정책전문가 초청 특강 및 바실라 로드 복원을 위한 기초연구 최종보고회’를 개최했다고 27일 밝혔다.

‘신라역사문화권 초광역사업 발굴을 위한 연구모임’에는 최재필 대표 의원과 이동협 부의장, 정종문.김소현 의원이 참여했다.

연구모임은 신라로 향한 해상 실크로드의 마지막 육로인 신라시대 국제무역항 사포가 있었던 울산 반구동에서 관문성을 거쳐 경주 월성까지의 바실라 로드를 복원해경주가 해상 실크로드의 종착점이자 시발점이라는인식을 확산하고, 신라역사문화권의 중심도시로서 새로운 역사문화 콘텐츠 발굴에 선도적으로 접근하기 위해 구성됐다.

이날 보고회에 앞서 곽영진 전 문화체육관광부 차관이 ‘경주시의 문화관광분야 활성화 방안’에 대해 특강을 하며 문화관광분야의 정부 정책 발굴과 실행에 대한 경험과 고민을 공유했다.

보고회에서는 해상 실크로드의 마지막 종착지인 경주의 도시브랜드격상이 필요하고 서역과의 문명교류 사실을 지역 자산화해서 경주를 중심으로 경북과 울산이 공동으로 바실라 로드 복원을 위한초광역사업을 추진해야 한다고 강조했다.

최재필 대표 의원은 “연구모임의 활동이 바실라 로드 복원이라는 좋은 결실을 거둘수있게 우선 관문성을 중심으로 하는 새로운 콘텐츠 발굴에 적극 동참하고 나아가 신라역사문화권 초광역사업 추진을 위해 집행부와 함께 경상북도, 울산광역시와 협의해 공동 학술연구 추진과 행정협의체를 구성할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다” 고말했다.
