한수원 한울본부, 울진군에 사랑의 김장 김치 기부

27일 울진군에 따르면‘사랑의 김장 나누기 행사’는 한울원자력본부에서 2004년에 시작해 20년째 이어오고 있는 행사로 한울본부의 대표적인 사회공헌 활동으로 자리 잡았다.

울진군 새마을회와 흥부마을 공동체가 직접 담그는 방식으로 운영되고 있으며, 울진군민들이 직접 만든 김치를 지역의 취약계층에 전달하는 뜻깊은 행사이다.

이번에 기부한 김치는 22일과 24일 이틀에 걸쳐 취약계층 1,000가구와 사회복지시설 15개소에 전달됐다.

이세용 한울원자력본부장은“한울 본부에서 매년 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 하고 있지만 사랑의 김장 나누기 행사만큼 지역주민들에게 사랑받는 사업은 없는 것 같다”며 “앞으로도 어려운 이웃들이 추운 겨울을 따뜻하게 보낼 수 있도록 온정을 나눌 수 있는 활동을 적극적으로 펼쳐나가겠다”라고 말했다.

손병복 울진군수는“경제가 어려운 상황임에도 매년 지역의 어려운 이웃들을 잊지 않고 지원해 주어 감사하다”며 “앞으로도 울진군 취약계층을 위한 한울본부의 상생 활동이 지속되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
