이번 교류는 ‘2030 교실’ 사업의 핵심 과제 중 하나로, 지리적 한계를 극복하고 두 지역 학생들이 디지털 기반의 공동 프로젝트를 수행하며 협력하는 것을 골자로 한다.
올해는 전남 18학급과 경북 16학급이 참여해 오는 11월까지 약 8개월간 대장정에 나선다. 특히 올해 운영에서 눈에 띄는 점은 ‘지속성’과 ‘체계성’이다. 지난 학년도에 참여했던 학급 간의 연속 매칭을 장려하는 한편, 지역과 학년, 학급별 특성을 반영해 교육청이 직접 연결을 지원하는 방식을 병행함으로써 일회성 행사가 아닌 내실 있는 협력 기반을 마련했다.
