브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= CJ프레시웨이는 지난 27일 충북 청주시 식품의약품안전처에서 열린 ‘2023년 식의약 데이터 활용 경진대회’에서 우수상을 수상했다고 28일 밝혔다.
CJ프레시웨이는 이번 대회에서 식약처의 공공데이터를 활용한 안전경영 신속알림시스템(CJ RAS, Rapid Alert System)을 개발하고 운영한 사례를 발표했다.
안전경영 신속알림시스템은 식약처에서 제공하는 공공데이터와 CJ프레시웨이의 상품기준정보를 자동으로 연계해 위해정보 발생시 위해식품 정보를 유관부서에 즉시 공유하고 유통을 차단하는 시스템이다.
현재 CJ프레시웨이가 식자재유통 및 급식사업 등에서 취급하는 상품수는 4만5000여개에 달하며 매년 상품수는 지속 증가하고 있다. 이런 가운데 상품정보시스템을 개편해 식약처의 공공상품정보와 CJ프레시웨이 전산시스템에 등록된 상품정보를 연동했다. 연동된 상품정보 데이터베이스를 기반으로 상품 선별방식을 개선해 선별력을 강화했다.
또한, 위해상품 자동모니터링을 통해 위해정보 발생시 문자메세지와 이메일을 통해 유관부서에 즉시 통보해 차단 소요시간을 획기적으로 축소했다. 기존 프로세스에서는 모니터링부터 차단까지 약 12시간 소요되던 것이 신속알림시스템을 통해 최대 30분으로 줄어들어 효율성을 극대화했다.
CJ프레시웨이는 신속알림시스템을 2022년부터 본격적으로 운영해 현재까지 총 44건의 유통상품을 조기 차단하는 성과를 올렸다. 해외에서 수입하는 식품종류도 지속 증가하고 있어 향후 해외 수입상품에 대한 부적합 정보까지 실시간 모니터링할 수 있도록 시스템을 개발해CJ프레시웨이의 통합 식품방어시스템을 구현한다는 계획이다.
CJ프레시웨이 관계자는 “식약처의 공공데이터를 활용한 신속알림시스템을 통해 위해상품 선별력을 강화하고 신속하게 차단함으로써 안전한 식품공급이 가능하게 됐다”며 “식품의 종류와 해외수입식품이 지속 증가함에 따라 위생안전을 위한 시스템을 강화해 더 안전한 식품공급이 되도록 최선을 다할 것이다”고 말했다.
