【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시는 12월 1일부터 경주페이 플랫폼에서 캐시백 혜택 외 경주페이 가맹점별로 3~5% 자체 할인율 적용해 소비자들에게 추가 할인을 제공하는 특별할인 가맹점(혜택온)을 운영한다고 28일 밝혔다.

이번 서비스로 경주페이 이용자에게는 캐시백 혜택과 함께 이중 할인 혜택을, 가맹점에게는 경주페이 모바일 앱에 상호, 메뉴, 할인율 등이 노출돼 특별 가맹점 홍보 효과를 누릴 수 있다.
앞서 중심상가 내 특별할인 가맹점을 모집한 결과 이미용, 안경, 꽃, 식음료, 의류, 영화관 등 다양한 업종별로 가맹점 모집을 완료했다.
시는 향후 중심상가 내 가맹점주와 소비자가 상생할 수 있도록 온·오프라인을 통해 특별할인 가맹점을 지속적으로 모집·홍보할 계획이다.
또 중심상가 내 경주페이 가맹점 특별할인 가맹점(혜택온) 시범사업 결과를 토대로 할인 가맹점 가입 범위를 시 전역으로 확대할 예정이다.
시는 이번 특별할인 가맹점 운영을 통해 지역 소상공인 매출 증대와 중심상가 활성화에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

한편 경주시는 연말을 맞아 12월 한 달 동안 경주페이 캐시백 혜택 한도를 당초 70만 원(7%)에서 60만 원(10%)로 조정한다.
