18일 군에 따르면 이번 평가는 지역사랑상품권을 발행하는 197개 지자체를 대상으로 사업 종합지침 개정 사항 반영, 판매실적, 부정 유통 단속 노력, 소상공인 지원 및 지역경제 활성화라는 정책목표 달성 정도 등에 대한 정량평가와 정성평가로 진행됐다.
군은 이번 평가에서 주민 이용 편의성 제고를 위한 KBPay 간편결제 도입, 농어민수당, 체육대회 시상금 등 정책수당 발행, 공공배달앱 먹깨비 연계(울진사랑카드 결제율 71%) 등 지역경제 활성화에 기여한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
울진사랑카드의 12월 현재 사용액은 552억원이며, 연말연시 소비 활성화를 위해 12월 한 달간 구매한도를 100만원으로, 할인율을 15%까지 확대해 운영하고 있다.
손병복 울진군수는“이번 지역사랑상품권 우수지자체 선정은 군민 여러분들의 적극적인 협조가 있어 가능했다”며 “군민들이 울진사랑카드를 사용하는 데 불편함을 겪지 않도록 예산확보와 사용 편의성 제고에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
