울진군, ‘무역의 날’ 수출 유공 지자체 선정

울진군은 올해 1월 이후 계속적으로 수출액 상승세를 이어왔으며, 지난 10월 현재 수출 증가율이 전년 대비 52.1%가 증가하여 경북 22개 시·군 가운데 최고의 증가율을 보였다.

주요 수출 품목은 게, 수산물 통조림, 송이버섯, 어망 등이며, 특히 주요 특산품인 게의 경우 지난해보다 49.6% 상승하여 도내 무역 수출 증가율 1위를 달성하는 데 큰 역할을 했다. 또한, 올해부터 농·특산물 해외 수출 확대를 위해 울진군 수출협의회와 농특산품 수출마케팅 사업을 추진하는 등 수출 확대를 위한 행보를 이어가고 있다.

손병복 울진군수는“이번 수상은 관내 수출 기업들이 적극적으로 해외 판로 개척 및 수출 확대를 위해 노력한 결과다”며 “울진군 수출이 더욱 성장할 수 있도록 지속적인 수출지원 정책을 펼쳐 나가겠다”라고 말했다.
