세종시가 정부예산안이 21일 국회 본회의를 통과한 가운데 역대 최대 규모인 1조 5천 202억 원의 정부예산을 확보한 가운데 내년도 미래전략수도 건설을 위한 각종 현안 사업 추진에 탄력이 기대된다고 밝혔다.
21일 국회 본회의를 통과한 내년 정부예산 중 세종시 관련 예산은 정부안 대비 93억 원이 증가한 총 1조 5천 202억 원으로 출범 이래 최대 규모다.
특히 국립민속박물관 이전 건립사업과 스마트국가산단 진입도로 개설과 같은 대규모 신규사업이 반영되어 자족기능 확충을 위한 기반이 구축됐다는 점에서 큰 의미를 갖는다.
세종시가 확보한 국비 가운데는 총사업비 약 2000억 원 규모인 국립민속박물관이전 건립을 위한 사업비 61억 원이 신규로 반영돼 시민의 풍요로운 문화생활을 영위할 수 있는 여건이 마련됐다.
타당성 재조사가 진행 중인 세종시 종합체육시설의 건립비 1억 원이 반영된 것도 의미가 크다.
