-그 동안 자발적으로 선교회 교인들이 참여할 수 있는 진실 규명 활동을 추진해 온 것으로 알고 있다. 그 중 말씀 버스킹은 어떤 계기로 시작하게 되셨는지?
▲정명석 목사에 대해 사실과 다른 편파 보도가 쏟아지면서 교인들의 자발적인 진실규명 활동을 위해 그 동안 전국 차원에서 교인들을 모아 팀을 꾸려 운영해왔다. 그 동안 언론의 호도로 인해 바깥에서는 우리가 정명석 목사에게 세뇌되었다고 믿고 있고, 실제 검찰 공소장에도 그 동안 미디어의 악의적 보도에 기반한 내용들이 기재 되어있다. 그러나 우리가 기독교복음선교회를 택한 이유는 다름 아닌 정명석 목사가 전해온 성경말씀 덕분이다. 성경말씀을 통해 그 동안 여러 종파 교단에서 풀어주지 못한 하나님과 성경에 대한 의문이 풀리고 각 개인도 긍정적 변화를 이룬 신앙체험을 통해 하나님, 예수님 앞에 온전한 신앙을 하게 됐다. 기성 기독교도 사상싸움으로 몇 백개의 여러 종파로 나눠져 있으면서도 우리를 포함한 신흥종교 몇몇을 타깃으로 온갖 음해와 공격을 하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 기독교복음선교회에 다니는 길을 스스로 택했다는 것을 우리는 진정으로 말씀드리고 싶다.
현재 저희 선교회를 탈퇴하여 지속적으로 선교회 음해 활동을 해온 반 JMS 활동가들이 악의적 언론 플레이를 자행하고 있지만 우리는 올바른 목소리를 내고 선교회의 핵심인 말씀을 세상 가운데 담대하게 알리고자 ‘말씀 버스킹’을 시작하게 됐다. 정명석 목사의 사상과 정신, 행함을 말씀을 통해 알리고자 했다.

▲<나는 신이다>는 돈과 권력에 눈이 멀어 선교회를 장악하고자 한 일명 ‘JMS 2인자’ 정조은(본명 김지선)과 측근들이 개입된 방송이다. <나는 신이다> 방영 이후 쏟아진 편파 보도로 단란 했던 우리 가정도 직격탄을 맞았다. 남편과 자녀들의 신앙이 흔들리고, 이로 인한 심한 가정불화가 터지면서 말로 표현할 수 없는 고통의 시간을 보냈다. 하나님이 주신 가정의 회복을 위해 매일 눈물로 철야기도를 드리고 있다.
-말씀 버스킹이 전국 선교회 교인들에게 어떤 영향력을 미치고 있는지?
▲말씀 버스킹이 전국으로 확산되며 뜨거운 복음 전파의 역사가 일어나고 있다. 그 동안 선교회에 대한 편파보도와 여론 재판으로 기울어진 정명석 목사의 재판에 낙심하고 쓰러졌던 교인들이 이 말씀 버스킹을 통해 다시 살아나고 있다. 역대급 한파에도 굴하지 않고 정명석 목사가 걸어온 위대한 삶과 말씀을 알리고 있다. 정명석 목사의 재판도 종교재판으로 어려움을 겪고 있지만 하나님의 역사하심과 우리들의 노력 끝에 결국 진실이 밝혀질 것을 믿는다.

-정명석 목사가 1심에 종신형에 가까운 중형 선고를 받은 암담한 상황이다. 앞으로 어떻게 행하실 건지?
▲정명석 목사의 1심 판결은 언론의 여론몰이로 인한 전형적인 여론재판, 종교재판으로 기본적 공정성이 결여된 재판이라고 생각한다. 정말 억울하고 분통할 뿐이다. 이같이 정명석 목사와 선교회가 겪고 있는 어려움과 환란은 그 동안 위축되어 복음 전파에 소홀했던 우리들의 행동의 결과라고 본다. 우리들이 세상 가운데 드러나는 것을 두려워했던 과거를 회개한다. 이제는 전 지역의 교인들이 세상을 향해 담대하게 말씀을 전파할 것이다. 이는 어느 한 때가 아닌 앞으로 꾸준히, 먼 후대까지 일어나야 할 것이다.
