[신년사] 대전 서구의회 전명자 의장
존경하는 47만 구민 여러분!
2024년 갑진년 청룡의 해를 맞아 구민 여러분의 가정에 행복이 가득하고 소망하시는 모든 일들이 이루어지길 기원합니다.
지난해를 되돌아보면 코로나19 팬데믹은 종식되었지만, 고물가·고금리·고환율 3고의 경제위기에 각종 자연재해와 안전사고까지 겹쳐 더욱 어려웠던 한 해였습니다.
제9대 서구의회는 지역 내 크고 작은 일이 발생할 때마다 구민의 안전과 행복을 최우선으로 삼고, 조례안 제·개정과 예산안 심의, 행정사무감사, 건의안, 5분 자유발언 등의 적극적인 의정활동을 펼치며, 구민의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 쉼 없이 달려왔습니다.
또한 구민을 위한 성과들이 하나하나 이루어질 때마다 구민이 더 나은 삶을 체감했는지를 고민하고 또 고민하며 지역발전과 구민의 복리증진에 앞장섰습니다.
올해에도 저희 20명의 의원은 연구단체 활동과 토론회, 지역 현장 등에서 보고 듣고 경험하며 배운 현장 지식과 전문 교육 기관의 교육 연수를 통해 체득한 전문 지식을 자양분 삼아 구민과 소통하며 일하겠습니다.
구민의 요구와 필요를 반영한 꼼꼼한 예산심사로 민생의 길목을 지키고 사전 예방을 원칙으로 모든 행정 사항을 꼼꼼히 살펴 더 높은 수준으로 도약하는 서구의회가 되겠습니다.
지방의회의 기능과 역할이 확대된 만큼 구민 곁으로 더 다가가 한분 한분의 목소리에 귀 기울이겠습니다. 구민의 뜻이 곧 서구의 비전이 되고 정책의 중심이 되는 열린 의회가 될 것을 약속드립니다.
끝으로 서구의회에 아낌없는 성원과 지지를 보내주시는 구민 여러분께 깊이 감사드리며, 2024년 새해에는 용기와 지혜, 희망과 성취를 상징하는 푸른 용의 기운을 받아 하시는 일마다 크게 번창하시길 기원합니다.

The 9th Seo-gu Council places the safety and happiness of residents as the top priority whenever something large or small occurs in the region, and actively engages in legislative activities such as enactment and revision of ordinances, deliberation of budget plans, administrative audits, proposals, and 5-minute free speeches.
