브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 정청래 더불어민주당 의원은 4일 이재명 대표를 습격한 김모씨의 당적과 관련 "국민의힘을 탈당 후 민주당을 입당한 것으로 짐작하고 있다"고 말했다.
정청래 의원은 이날 유튜브 채널 '김어준의 겸손은힘들다 뉴스공장'에서 "(당적) 확인은 안된다. 단독 보도가 있었는데, 정황상 국민의힘 당적을 가지고 있다가 탈당하고 민주당에 입당했다는 정도로 짐작하고 있다"고 밝혔다.
그는 "당적을 (누군가는 정치적으로) 이용하고 싶을 수 있으나, 경찰 수사로 밝혀질 것"이라며 "민주당 당원이든, 국민의힘 당원이든 벌을 받아야 하는 일"이라고 말했다.
이에 진행자인 김어준씨는 당적을 계속 추궁해 배후를 밝혀야 한다고 강조하며 "그는 지난해 민주당에 입당해 계획범죄를 저지른 정치범이다. 일상을 사는 개인이 그렇게 오래 범죄를 계획할 수 있겠나. 정치범은 보통 자기 주장을 하는데 그런 게 없다. 선거와 상관없이 계속 (배후 여부를) 추적해달라"고 촉구했다.
