[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군에서는 ‘사과’농가를 대상으로 2024년도 ‘3無농업 실천사업’ 신청을 2024년 1월 18일까지 읍·면사무소를 통해 접수 받는다.
제초제, 생장조정제, 착색제 3가지를 사용하지 않는 3無농업은 거창군 특화 환경친화형 농업으로 이미 스스로 실천 중이거나 실천하고자 하는 관내 사과재배 농업인이면 신청이 가능하다.
농산물우수관리인증, 저탄소 인증, 다축 시범사업 농가를 우선적으로 선정하며 실천 이행 시 3년간 장려금, 교육, 자재 지원과 함께 거창군의 ‘3無인증 스티커’를 발급받아 출하할 수 있다.
2024년도 3無농업 실천사업은 그간의 문제점과 실천농가 애로사항을 보완 개선해 실효성 있고 실현가능한 정책으로 새롭게 시작된다.
주요 개선사항으로는 실천면적 조정 실천작목 및 인원 제한 실천기간 연장 장려금 2배 인상 및 상한 폐지 3년간 재배기술 현장컨설팅 농자재 70% 보조 농약분석 점검 강화 등이 있다.
최남미 농업기술과장은 “2024년부터는 실천의지가 있는 사과농가 50명을 발굴해 3년간 3無를 실천하는데 어려움이 없도록 획기적으로 개선했다”며 “제대로 실천하는 농가만이 보상받도록 하고 ‘3無농업’이 거창군이 인증하는 안전한 먹거리 브랜드로 자리매김할 수 있도록 최선을 다 하겠다”고 말했다.
