브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 오는 4·10 총선으로 국회에 새로 입성하게 될 22대 국회의원의 연봉은 자동인상됨에 따라 1억5700만원 상당인 것으로 나타났다.
국회사무처의 '2024년 국회의원 수당 등 지급기준'에 따르면 국회의원들 역시 올해 공무원 급여 인상률이 적용되면서 급여가 자동으로 인상된다.
국회의원 급여는 기본급이라 할 수 있는 수당과 입법활동비, 특별활동비(입법활동비의 30% 상당액), 명절휴가비 등 상여금 등으로 구성되며 국회의장과 부의장, 각 상임위 위원장에게는 직급보조비가 추가로 더해진다.
올해 국회의원 수당(기본급) 중 일반수당은 707만9900원으로, 지난해 690만7300원보다 2.5% 상승했다.
또한 관리업무수당이 지난해 62만1650원에서 올해 63만7190원으로 올랐다.
입법활동비(313만6000원)와 특별활동비(78만4000원), 정액급식비(14만원)는 지난해와 동일했다.
이를 통해 계산하면 국회의원이 월급은 약 1200만원 상당이며 최종 연봉은 약 1억5690만860원으로 추산됐다.
아울러 국회의원이 임기 중 구속이 된 경우에도 특별활동비를 제외한 수당, 명절휴가비 등은 지급되기 때문에 특혜라는 지적도 나오고 있다.
