필자는 지난 1985년부터 1989년까지 미국 뉴욕의 맨해튼에서 거주했다. 이때 박정희 정권 정치공작의 핵심부서 책임자였던 중앙정보부(KCIA) 방준모 전 감찰실장(고인)을 장기간 인터뷰, 박정희 정권의 공작정치 실상을 ‘세계타임스(세계신보)’에 폭로했었다. 중앙정보부가 벌인 정치공작 내막의 내용은 필자의 저서인 ‘비록 중앙정보부(전 3권)’에 담겨있다.
1월을 마지막 보내는 날 저녁인 1월31일, 옛날 영화인 ‘쎄시봉’을 보았다. 이 영화는 지난 2015년 2월 5일 개봉됐었다. 결론적으로 ‘쎄시봉’이라는 영화는, 박정희 정권의 정치공작이 만든 영화랄 수 있다. 왜냐? 서울 명동의 음악감상실 ‘쎄시봉 가게’의 폐문()은 권력의 위기를 덮기 위한 정치공작이 만든 사건이었기 때문이다.
