[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 1만권이 넘는 장서를 보유한 김해시 행정자료실이 더 나은 시설과 서비스로 시청 직원과 시민들을 맞이한다.
시에 따르면 접근성이 좋도록 시청사 서관 2층으로 행정자료실 위치를 옮겨 19일부터 본격적인 운영에 들어갔다.
새롭게 만들어진 행정자료실은 127㎡ 규모에 김해시 자료와 간행물, 학술·연구자료 등 행정자료 5,000여권과 일반도서 7,000여권을 합쳐 총 1만2,000여권의 장서를 보유하고 있다.
운영은 매주 월~금요일 오전 9시부터 오후 6까지 점심시간 없이 개방하고 있으며 시청 직원은 물론 시민들도 대출과 열람이 가능하다.
이전하며 개방형 구조로 개선했고 이용자 열람석, 자료 검색 공간, 신간과 인기 도서 서가를 별도로 만들어 이용자 중심으로 꾸몄다.
특히 대성동 고분군 세계유산 등재를 기념하고 김해의 정체성과 시민의 자긍심을 드높일 수 있는 ‘가야 그리고 김해의 기록’과 전국체전, 김해방문의 해, 동아시아 문화도시 3대 메가이벤트를 주제로 한 ‘2024 여기, 김해’ 등의 전문코너를 만들어 시정을 한눈에 볼 수 있도록 정보 제공 기능을 강화했다.
