[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 수송 부문 온실가스 감축을 위해 탄소중립포인트를 운영한다고 26일 밝혔다.
탄소중립포인트 자동차는 승용, 승합 자동차의 주행거리를 줄여 온실가스를 감축할 경우 실적에 따라 최대 10만원 인센티브를 제공하는 온실가스 감축 실천 프로그램이다.
시는 3월 4일부터 15일까지 참여 시민을 선착순으로 모집한다.
모집 대수는 1,050대로 지난해 835대에 비해 26% 확대해 올 한 해 더 많은 시민이 혜택을 받을 수 있게 됐다.
참여 대상은 김해시에 등록된 12인승 이하 비사업용 승용·승합차량으로 전기, 수소 등 친환경 차량은 제외되며 차량 등록 소유주 기준 1인당 1대만 신청할 수 있다.
참여 희망자는 신청기간 동안 탄소중립포인트 누리집에서 회원 가입 후 신청하고 참여 후 2~3일 이내 전송되는 문자 URL로 차량 계기판과 번호판 사진을 촬영해 제출하면 된다.
지난해는 835명이 참여해 521명이 주행거리를 감축해 3,704만원의 인센티브를 받았으며 235t의 온실가스를 감축하는 효과를 냈다.
