브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넷마블문화재단이 ‘2024 넷마블견학프로그램’ 참가자를 모집한다.
넷마블견학프로그램은 게임 진로에 관심 있는 중학생 이상의 청소년(대학생 포함)을 대상으로 게임산업 현장 방문을 통해 게임직군에 대한 이해를 돕고 미래 설계에 밑바탕이 되는 정보를 제공하는 프로그램이다. 2016년부터 9년째 진행해오고 있다.
올해 견학프로그램은 4월부터 11월까지 월 1회 넷마블 사옥에서 진행되며, 게임 진로에 관심 있는 청소년(최소 20인 이상의 단체만 신청 가능) 누구나 신청이 가능하다.
넷마블은 사내 전문가들의 강의를 통해 학생들에게 게임업계 및 실무 관련 정보를 전달하고 보드게임 등으로 간접적인 직업 체험의 기회를 제공할 예정이다. 참여 신청은 오는 20일까지 넷마블문화재단 홈페이지에서 받으며, 결과는 개별 안내한다.
넷마블문화재단 이나영 사무국장은 “넷마블견학프로그램은 연간 신청이 이틀 만에 마감되는 등 게임 산업과 진로에 관심 있는 청소년들로부터 높은 호응을 얻고 있다”며 “올해는 자체 개발한 경영 게임을 통해 게임산업 현장에 대한 이해를 보다 높일 수 있는 기회를 확장할 예정인 만큼 지속적인 기대와 관심을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
한편, 건강한 게임문화의 가치 확대 및 미래 창의 인재 양성, 나눔 문화 확산 등을 위해 2018년 출범한 넷마블문화재단은 ‘문화 만들기’, ‘인재 키우기’, ‘마음 나누기’ 등 3가지 영역을 중심으로 다양하고 전문화된 사회공헌 활동을 전개하고 있다.
