이에 따라, 강릉시는 2026년까지 탄소중립 포인트제 1만가구 가입목표로 인센티브 지급예산을 추가확보하고 공직자 가입과 읍면동 가입 창구를 운영, 인센티브 지급확대 등 지속적인 가입 홍보활동을 통해 시민들의 참여를 유도하며 각 가정으로부터 온실가스 감축 실천을 이루어 나갈 계획이다.
