[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 제40회 산청황매산철쭉제가 오는 4월 27일 막을 올린다.
15일 산청군에 따르면 전국 최고의 철쭉 군락지 산청 차황면 법평리 황매산 일원에서 4월 27일부터 5월 12일까지 제40회 산청황매산철쭉제가 개최된다.
축제는 ‘산청, 철쭉에 물들다’라는 주제로 철쭉풍년 제례로 막을 올린다.
또 주제 및 대표행사를 비롯해 다양한 체험행사, 농특산물 판매장터, 향토음식점 등을 운영한다.
안전과 원활한 축제진행을 위해 차량은 일방통행이 이뤄진다.
특히 버스 통행으로 인한 안전사고 예방을 위해 행사 기간 중 12인승 초과 차량은 만암마을 입구에서 진입이 통제되며 신촌마을에 위치한 대형버스주차장에 주차해야 한다.
앞서 산청황매산철쭉제위원회는 지난 12일 차황면사무소 대회실에서 2024년 정기총회를 열고 이 같은 내용을 담은 안건을 의결한 바 있다.
이문혁 산청황매산철쭉제위원회 위원장은 “정기총회에서 나온 다양한 의견들을 축제에 반영할 것”이라며 “보다 알차고 내실 있는 축제를 위해 총력을 쏟겠다”고 말했다.
