[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 올해 메가이벤트의 대미를 장식할 제105회 전국체전과 제44회 전국장애인체전의 성공 개최를 위해 만반의 준비를 하고 있다.
제105회 전국체전은 오는 10월 11일부터 17일까지 경남 18개 시·군에서 열리며 주개최지인 김해시에서는 개·폐회식과 육상·태권도 등 16개 종목이 개최된다.
제44회 전국장애인체전은 10월 25일부터 30일까지 경남 12개 시·군에서 분산 개최되며 김해시에서는 게이트볼, 당구 등 9개 종목이 진행된다.
양대 체전에는 국내 선수단과 임원진, 해외동포선수단 등을 포함해 약 4만여명이 참가할 것으로 예상되며 김해시는 분야별로 손님맞이에 최선을 다하고 있다.
△주경기장과 종목별 경기장 ‘만전’
먼저 체전 주경기장인 김해종합운동장의 건립이 순조롭다.
4월 말 준공을 목표로 공사 중으로 20일 기준 공정률은 85%에 달한다.
특히 올해 체전은 동아시아문화도시, 김해방문의 해와 함께 치러지는 만큼 문화체전으로 승화할 수 있도록 김해종합운동장 내 시립 김영원 미술관을 함께 운영해 체전 기간 중 다양한 미술품과 조각품들을 전시할 계획이다.
종합운동장 건립과 함께 참가선수들이 실력을 마음껏 발휘할 수 있도록 관내 26개 경기장에 대한 현장 안전점검을 꼼꼼히 하고 6개 경기장 개·보수는 오는 8월까지 완료 예정이다.

김해시는 전국체전의 꽃인 개·폐회식에 대비해 교통·주차 대책에 집중하고 있다.
지난 11일 김해시체육회와 김해중부경찰서 김해시 교통봉사단체협의회, 모범운전자회 등 관계기관 담당자와 함께 ‘전국체전 대비 교통 및 주차대책 수립 용역’ 최종보고회를 마무리했다.
현재 경기장 주변 교통문제 해소와 방문객들의 편의 제공, 부족한 주차공간 확보를 위한 세부계획을 수립 중이다.
