브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 더불어민주당은 4일 총선 전망에 대해 총 지역구 254곳 중 100곳에서 유리하고, 우열을 가리기 힘든 경합지는 50곳 이상이라는 기존 입장을 유지했다.
한병도 전략기획위원장은 이날 여의도 중앙당사에서 가진 총선 판세 관련 기자회견에서 "윤석열 정권 심판 분위기가 확대되면서 상승 국면을 맞이하고 있다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "하지만 선거가 목전에 다가서면서 양당 지지층이 결집하면서 경합지역이 지속적으로 확대되고 있는 양상"이라며 "승패를 예측할 수 없는 한 표 승부가 확대되고 있다"고 진단했다.
이어 그는 "수도권과 부산·울산·경남, 충청 등에서 박빙 지역이 워낙 많고 투표율 등의 변수를 감안할 때 예측이 어려운 상황"이라며 "과반 달성을 목표로 끝까지 최선을 다하겠다"고 강조했다.
그는 또한 이번 총선 승패를 가를 주요 변수로 투표율을 꼽으며 "투표율이 65% 이상이 되면 민주당에 유리할 것으로 생각한다"고 평가했다.
그는 "사전투표든 본투표든 투표율이 오르면 우리에게 유리한 국면"이라며 "최근 여당과의 격차가 좁혀지고 있지만 그 흐름은 변하지 않는다고 본다. 사전투표율이 높을수록 민주당에 유리할 것"이라고 내다봤다.
