브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 지난달 중순 북한 김정은 국무위원장이 참관한 공수부대 훈련에서 다수의 사망자와 부상자가 발생한 것으로 전해졌다.
당시 강풍이 부는 등 기상 상황이 좋지 않은 조건에서 김정은 위원장의 참관때문에 훈련을 강행했다가 많은 사상자가 발생한 것 아니냐는 추측이 나오고 있다.
지난 3일 KBS는 북한 내부 소식통의 말을 인용해 지난달 15일 김정은 위원장이 딸 주애와 함께 특수작전군 11군단 소속 공수부대 훈련을 참관했다고 보도했다.
이어 당시 공수강하 훈련을 진행하는 도중 강풍이 불면서 낙하산이 펴지지 않거나, 공중에서 낙하산끼리 서로 엉키면서 다수의 군인들이 바닥으로 추락하는 등 인명피해가 발생했다고 소식통은 전했다. 그 중에는 20대 초반의 젊은 병사들도 포함돼 있다고 했다.
특히 현장 군 지휘관들도 당시 기상 상태로는 훈련을 하지 않았어야 했음을 알고 있었으면서도 김정은 위원장이 참관하고 있었기 때문에 밀어불일 수밖에 없었다고 소식통은 설명했다.
