브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= HD현대오일뱅크가 오네(O-NE) 슈퍼레이스 챔피언십에 6년 연속 연료를 독점 공급한다.
HD현대오일뱅크는 경기도 용인에 위치한 에버랜드 스피드웨이에서 슈퍼레이스와 공식 연료 파트너십 협약을 체결했다. 이번 협약식에는 양민웅 HD현대오일뱅크 PM지원부문장과 김동빈 슈퍼레이스 대표를 비롯한 양측 관계자들이 참석했다.
고성능, 고출력을 요구하는 모터스포츠 레이싱 차량은 엔진 출력 저하를 방지하기 위해 옥탄가 94 이상의 고급 휘발유 사용이 필수다. HD현대오일뱅크 ‘카젠’은 고급 휘발유 시장의 선두 주자로서 법정 규격보다 우수한 옥탄가 100 수준의 제품이다.
‘카젠’을 주입한 슈퍼 6000 클래스 경기는 오는 20일 경기도 용인에 위치한 에버랜드 스피드웨이에서 첫 시동을 건다. 슈퍼레이스는 올 시즌 총 7개 클래스가 열리며 올해 11월까지 진행한다.
지난 해 역대 최다 평균 관람객인 2만 여명이 참여했으며 대회 중계 시청자는 55만 여명에 달했다. HD현대오일뱅크는 이번 공급을 토대로 모터스포츠 팬들 뿐만 아니라 전국 시청자들에게 고급 휘발유 ‘카젠’의 우수한 성능을 널리 알리겠다는 계획이다.
