브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이란이 이스라엘 본토를 향해 보복 공격을 감행하면서 50년만에 5차 중동 전쟁이 발생하는게 아니냐는 우려의 목소리가 나오고 있다.
미국 월스트리트저널(WSJ) 보도에 따르면 다니엘 하가리 이스라엘군 수석대변인은 이란이 13일(현지시간) 밤부터 14일 오전까지 이스라엘을 겨냥해 미사일과 드론(무인기)을 200발 넘게 발사했다고 밝혔다.
미국 뉴욕타임스(NYT)도 이란이 발사한 드론은 185대, 순항미사일이 36기, 지대지 미사일이 110기에 이른다고 보도했다.
이에 이스라엘은 방공체계인 '아이언돔'을 비롯한 다층 방공망에 의해 대부분의 공격이 무력화됐다고 설명했다.
또한 미국, 영국, 프랑스의 전투기들도 이스라엘을 도와 무인기들을 격추시켰다.
문제는 이스라엘의 향후 대응이다.
