대통령실이 17일 후임 국무총리·비서실장 인선 구도에 야권 인사 박영선 전 중소벤처기업부 장관·양정철 전 민주연구원장이 각각 검토 중이란 일부 언론 보도를 정면으로 부인했다.
대통령실 대변인실은 이날 오전 언론 공지에서 "일부 언론서 보도된 '박영선 전 장관·양정철 전 민주연구원장 등 인선은 검토된 바 없다"고 밝혔다.
앞서 일부 매체는 이날 여당의 4·10 총선 패배에 책임지고 물러난 한덕수 총리 후임에 박 전 장관, 이관섭 비서실장 후임으론 문재인 전 대통령 최측근 양 전 원장이 검토되고 있다고 보도했다.
박 전 장관은 지난 문재인 정부 장관직을 지냈고, 양 전 원장 경우 참여정부 시절 청와대 홍보기획비서관으로 일한 바 있는 야권 인사들이다.
