브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금은 지난 15일 중소벤처기업부가 발표한 2023년 공공기관 동반성장평가에서 ‘최우수’ 등급을 받았다고 17일 밝혔다.
134개 공공기관을 대상으로 한 이번 평가에서 신보는 금융위원회 산하 기관 중 유일하게 3년 연속 최우수 등급을 받았다. 특히, 신보는 중소기업의 ESG 확산과 대·중소기업 상생 활성화를 위한 다양한 보증 프로그램을 추진해 동반성장에 앞장서고 있는 점을 인정받았다.
신보는 지난해 국내 최초로 녹색경제활동 영위기업의 회사채 발행을 우대 지원하는 ‘녹색자산 유동화증권(G-ABS)’을 도입했고, ‘탄소중립 실천기업 우대보증’을 출시해 중소기업의 자발적인 탄소중립 실천을 유도하고 있다.
더불어 대기업과 함께 해외 진출을 추진하는 중소기업 3곳에 818억원의 ‘해외동반진출 보증’을 지원했고, 대기업 혁신 프로젝트 협력기업 15곳에 237억원의 ‘공동프로젝트 보증’을 지원해 상호 이익형 동반성장 우수모델 ‘윈윈아너스’ 기관으로 선정되기도 했다.
신보 관계자는 “3년 연속 최우수 등급을 달성한 것은 동반성장 생태계 조성을 위한 지속적인 노력의 결과”라며 “신보는 앞으로도 중소기업을 위한 다양한 지원 프로그램을 통해 동반성장의 선도적인 역할을 계속해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
