윤석열 대통령이 17일 프라보워 수비안토 인도네시아 대통령 당선인과 전화 통화를 갖고 양국관계 강화·인태 지역 자유·평화·번영을 위한 공동 노력 방안 등을 논의했다고 대통령실이 전했다.
대통령실에 따르면 윤 대통령은 이날 오후 프라보워 당선인과의 전화 통화에서 "당선을 축하하며 한·인도네시아 '특별전략적 동반자' 관계를 한층 더 강화해 나가길 바란다"고 말했다.
또 "한·아세안(ASEAN·동남아시아국가연합) 연대구상 핵심 파트너 인도네시아와 함께 인태 지역 자유·평화·번영을 위해 노력해 나가길 희망한다"고 전했다.
이에 프라보워 당선인은 "한국을 인도네시아 중요 파트너로 생각한다"며 "취임 후 제반 분야에서 한국과의 협력을 더욱 확대해 나가길 바란다"고 화답했다.
대통령실은 "윤 대통령과 프라보워 당선인은 오는 10월 인니 신정부 출범 이후 방산·전기차·인프라 등 분야에서 전략적 미래지향적 협력을 지속 확대키로 했다"고 전했다.
