한국법무보호복지공단 경기지부는 22일 안양시에 위치한 ‘좋은 환경’에서 법무보호대상자 일자리 창출을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하였다.
협약 내용에 따라 공단은 기업에 적합 인재 추천 및 고용촉진장려금 등 다양한 정보를 제공하고 기업은 보호대상자의 일자리 창출 및 취업 연계 협력, 취업관련 프로그램 등 적극적인 참여를 하게 된다.

좋은환경 이일헌 이사는 "법무보호대상자 출소 후 사회 속에서 안정적인 삶의 기틀을 만 들 수 있도록 지원하겠다“라며 ”이번 협약을 통해 사회복귀와 재범 방지에 더욱 기여할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"라고 전했다.
한편, 한국법무보호복지공단 경기지부는 현재 170여 곳의 기관과 업무협약(MOU)을 통해 보호대상자의 취업 활성화 및 안정적인 일자리 확보 등을 위한 업무협약 체결을 통해 알선 취업자들의 사후관리를 하고 있다. [이기홍 기자]
