KT&G 상상마당 춘천이 개관 10주년을 맞아 복합문화축제 ‘상상실현 페스티벌’과 아카이브 기념 전시 등 특별 프로그램을 선보였다.
올해 10주년을 맞은 상상마당 춘천은 춘천시 어린이회관과 강원 체육회관을 예술과 함께 머무는 ‘아트스테이(Art+Stay)’ 콘셉트로 리모델링해 2014년 개관한 복합문화예술공간이다.
의암호 수변에 위치하고 있어 자연과 함께하는 즐기는 문화공간이자 공연장을 비롯해 라이브스튜디오, 갤러리, 카페, 객실 등을 두루 갖추고 있는 것이 특징이다.
상상마당 춘천은 지난 10년간 총 300만명의 방문객이 다녀간 지역 대표 문화공간으로 자리매김했다. 연평균 430회의 프로그램을 운영해 지역 문화예술 발전과 문화향유 기회 확대에 기여했다.
상상마당 춘천을 비롯해 전국 5곳에 상상마당을 운영하는 KT&G는 지난해 문화예술인 양성 및 지역 상생의 노력을 인정받아 2015년에 이어 두번째로 한국메세나협회 주관 ‘2023 메세나대상’ 시상식에서 대통령 표창을 수상했다.
이 같은 성과를 기념해 상상마당 춘천은 개관 10주년 특별 프로그램으로 상상실현 페스티벌을 지난 27일부터 이틀간 개최했다. ‘장기하’, ‘잔나비’ 등 국내 정상급 뮤지션들과 인디 뮤지션 등 총 30팀의 공연이 열렸으며, 총 16,000여 명의 관람객이 함께했다.
또, 상상마당 춘천은 지역 공공기관 협업 플리마켓도 개최했으며, 강원권 문화소외계층을 페스티벌에 초대하는 등 지역 상생의 의미를 더했다.
