브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차와 기아가 SDV(Software Defined Vehicle) 체계로의 전환 및 소프트웨어 개발 역량 가속화를 위해 우수 인재 확보에 나선다.
현대차·기아는 2일부터 20일까지 신입 소프트웨어 개발자 양성하고 우수한 인재를 채용하기 위한 채용 연계형 교육 ‘소프티어 부트캠프(Softeer Bootcamp) 2024’ 참가자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.
소프티어는 소프트웨어(Software)와 엔지니어(Engineer)의 합성어로 차량 소프트웨어 분야의 개척자(Frontier)라는 의미를 가진다. 현대차그룹은 소프트웨어 역량 진단 코딩 테스트, 전문가 네트워킹 프로그램, 온라인 교육 등 다양한 소프티어 활동을 진행하고 있다.
현대차·기아는 2023년부터 소프티어 부트캠프를 운영해 왔다. 이번 소프티어 부트캠프는 4회차를 맞아 모집 규모를 확대하고 다양한 영역에서 실질적 교육을 체험할 수 있는 프로그램으로 진행된다.
현대차·기아는 △웹 백엔드 △웹 프론트엔드 △서비스 기획 △디자인 △데이터 엔지니어링 등 5개 분야에서 총 85명 규모로 참가자를 선발한다. 올해는 데이터 엔지니어링 분야를 추가해 SW 관련 대부분의 직무를 다루도록 한 것이 특징이다.
모집 대상은 올 2월 국내외 대학교 졸업자부터 2025년 졸업 예정자로 공식 홈페이지 를 통해 지원 가능하다.
현대차·기아는 별도 면접 없이 온라인 평가를 통해 기초 코딩 역량과 소프트웨어 기본 지식을 갖춘 지원자를 선발, 오는 7월 1일부터 총 8주 동안 교육 프로그램을 운영한다.
참가자들은 1개월간의 이론 교육 이후 팀 프로젝트를 수행한다. 이번 4기 프로그램은 직무간 협업 프로젝트 비중을 강화해 실제 현업에서 수행하는 개발 업무 프로세스를 익힐 수 있도록 구성됐다.

현대차·기아는 대학생들이 실무 경험을 쌓아 취업 경쟁력을 높이고 개발자 생태계 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 소프티어 부트캠프를 전액 무상으로 제공한다.
교육생들에게는 고사양 노트북 및 개발자 툴 등 교육에 필요한 장비가 지급되며 우수 수료생은 별도 포상도 받을 수 있다.
현대차·기아는 소프티어 부트캠프 참가자를 대상으로 신입 채용 연계 혜택을 제공한다. 수료자에게는 별도 서류 평가 과정 없이 교육 과정 평가 및 최종 면접을 통해 현대자동차 및 기아 IT 직무로 입사할 수 있는 기회가 주어진다.
