브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행은 청년 IT 인재 양성 프로그램 ‘KB IT’s Your Life’ 5기 발대식을 개최했다고 8일 밝혔다.
‘KB IT’s Your Life’는 KB국민은행의 대표 사회공헌사업 ‘KB Dream Wave 2030’의 진로 분야 프로그램이다. 2022년부터 현재까지 체계적인 소프트웨어 교육으로 청년층의 IT역량 향상과 취업 경쟁력 제고를 지원하고 있다. 다수의 수료생들이 금융권 등 다양한 산업 분야에 취업해 미래 IT인재로 성장하고 있다.
이날 발대식에는 김경남 KB국민은행 ESG상생본부장이 참석해 교육생들을 응원하고, 과거 ‘KB IT’s Your Life’를 수료한 KB국민은행의 IT분야 현직자들의 교육과정 당시 마음가짐, 취업 과정에 대한 특강이 진행되는 등 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.
이번 5기 참가자들은 6개월간 JAVA 기반 알고리즘, SQL, DB 활용 및 팀 프로젝트 등 디지털 인재로 성장하기 위한 전문 IT 교육을 받는다.
특히, ‘KB IT’s Your Life’는 올해 고용노동부가 주관하는 디지털 핵심 실무인재 양성 사업인 ‘K-디지털 트레이닝’의 과정 중 하나로 선정되면서 교육 인원을 150명에서 266명으로 대폭 늘리고 교육 기간도 3개월에서 6개월로 확대했다.
