삼성전자는 24일 설명자료를 통해 “삼성전자는 다양한 글로벌 파트너들과 HBM 공급을 위한 테스트를 순조롭게 진행 중이다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 로이터통신 등 해외언론은 삼성전자가 미국 반도체업체 엔비디아에 HBM을 납품하기 위한 테스트를 아직 통과하지 못했하고 있다고 보도한 바 있다. 테스트를 통과하지 못하는 이유로는 발열과 전력 소비 등을 꼽았다.
