아비트럼은 이더리움의 확장성 문제를 해결하기 위한 레이어2 솔루션이다. 낮은 거래 비용과 빠른 전송 속도를 제공하며, 디파이(DeFi) 시장 총 예치금액(TVL)에서도 5번째로 높은 순위를 기록하고 있다. 이로 인해 점점 더 많은 게임 개발자들과 이용자들의 선택을 받고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.
양사는 이번 협업을 통해 향후 디랩스 게임즈에서 선보이는 웹3 신작 메타볼츠와 스페이스프론티어를 아비트럼으로 온보딩 시킬 예정이다. 올 2월 선보인 멀티플레이 레이싱 게임인 럼블 레이싱 스타 역시 아비트럼으로 마이그레이션 될 예정이다. 또한, 디랩스 토큰인 $GAME은 ERC-20 기반으로 연내에 선보일 계획이다.
