윤석열 대통령이 26일 라인야후 사태 관련해 "일본 총무성 행정지도가 국내 기업인 네이버에 지분을 매각하란 요구는 아닌 걸로 이해하고 있다"며 "한·일 외교관계와 별개 사안으로 인식하고 있다"고 밝혔다.
대통령실 고위 관계자는 이날 기자들과 만나 "윤 대통령은 기시다 후미오 일본 총리와 용산 대통령실에서 열린 양자회담에서 '앞으로 양국 간 불필요한 현안이 되지 않도록 잘 관리해 나갈 필요가 있겠다"며 이같이 말했다고 전했다.
그러면서 "윤 대통령은 라인야후 사태가 현재 관심사이기에 양자회담서 먼저 거론하셨다"고 전했다.
기시다 총리는 "행정지도는 한국 기업 포함 외국 기업들의 일본에 대한 투자를 계속 촉진하겠단 기존 입장에 불변없다는 그런 원칙하에서 이해되고 있다"며 "이번 일본 총무성 행정지도는 이미 발생한 중대한 보안 유출 사건에 어디까지나 보안 거버넌스를 재검토해 보란 요구사항"이라고 말했다.
또 "한·일 정부 간 초기 단계부터 이 문제를 잘 소통하며 협력해왔고 앞으로도 계속 긴밀히 소통해 나갈 예정"이라고 말했다.
