윤석열 대통령이 27일 리창 중국 국무원 총리와 별도 환담을 갖고 "북한 비핵화 등에 중국이 건설적 역할을 해달라"고 요청했다고 대통령실이 전했다.
김수경 대통령실 대변인은 이날 오후 서면브리핑에서 한·일·중 정상회의 계기 별도 환담에서 "윤 대통령은 리 총리와 별도 환담을 계기로 북한 핵문제 관련해 중국이 안보리 상임이사국으로서 글로벌 핵비확산 체제 유지를 위해 건설적 역할을 해 줄 것을 당부하고 탈북민 문제에 대한 협조를 요청했다"고 전했다.
리 총리는 "중국이 그동안 한반도 문제 평화적 해결을 위해 노력해 왔고 정세 안정도 중요하다 본다"며 "한국 측 우려를 잘 알고 있고 앞으로도 계속 소통해 나가자"고 말했다.
