충남 서산시는 공단 인근 거주자, 학생 등 시민을 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 화학물질 안전학교’를 운영한다고 27일 밝혔다.
찾아가는 화학물질 안전학교는 화학 사고에 대한 경각심을 고취하기 위해 생활 속 유해화학물질, 화학사고 예방 및 대처 방법 등을 교육한다.
서산시는 부춘초등학교에서 학생들을 대상으로 찾아가는 화학물질 안전학교를 진행했으며, 학생들의 눈높이에 맞춰 생활 속 유해화학물질에 대해 알아보는 시간을 가졌다.
이날 교육을 시작으로, 서산시는 상반기 학교를 대상으로 교육을 20회 추진하고 하반기에는 경로당 등에서 10회 추진할 방침이다.
