태안군, 다문화 자녀 학업 증진 교육비 지원

충남태안군에 따르면, 센터는 다문화가족의 자녀가 미래 지역인재로 성장할 수 있는 기반을 마련하기 위해 올해 7400만 원의 예산을 들여 ‘다문화가족 자녀 교육비 지원 사업’을 추진한다.

이번 사업은 교육급여를 받지 않는 기준중위소득 100% 이하의 다문화가족 초·중·고생 자녀(2006~2017년생)에 연 1회 40~60만 원의 교육비를 지원하는 사업으로 올해 여성가족부 시범 사업 중 하나다. 다문화가족 자녀의 학습권 보호를 위해 학교 밖 청소년에게도 기회가 제공된다.

소득과 연령 기준을 충족하는 다문화가정 자녀라면 신청할 수 있으며, 신청 시 △신청서 △주민등록등본 △가족관계증명서 △2024년 건강보험료 납부확인서 △건강보험 자격(통보) 확인서 △교육활동비 활용 계획서를 태안군가족센터에 방문해 제출하면 된다.

9월 30일까지 신청 가능하며 여성가족부 심사를 거쳐 선정 결과가 통보된다. 신청 시기에 따라 △7월(5~6월 신청자) △9월(7~8월 신청자) △10월(9월 신청자)에 교육비를 지급받게 된다.

교육비는 초등 40만 원 ,중등 50만 원 ,고등 60만 원으로 NH농협(채움)카드 포인트로 지급되며, 올해 11월 30일까지 제한업종을 제외한 곳에서 사용할 수 있다.
