[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 30일 시청 대회의실에서 복지사각지대 안전망 구축을 위해 우리동네 복지안전망 ‘김해 행복지킴이단’ 발대식을 개최했다.

김해시는 그동안 복지사각지대 해소를 위해 다양한 복지 시책을 추진해왔으나 은둔형 외톨이와 1인 가구 증가, 고독사 문제 등 새로운 복지 사각지대가 지속 발생하는 등 신속한 위기가구 발굴을 위해 민관협력의 복지 안전망 구축이 필요함에 따라 김해 행복지킴이단 출범식을 개최하게 됐다.

김해 행복지킴이단은 위기가구를 발굴지원하는 활동에 자발적으로 지역주민이 참여하는 인적자원 네트워크로 현재 1,700명이 활동하고 있다.

활동 중인 단체는 김해시와 읍면동 지역사회보장협의체, 명예사회복지공무원, 김해시 지역사회보장협의체 그리고 최근에 참여한 대한적십자 김해지구협의회, 김해시사회복지사협회, 한국공인중개사협회 김해시지부, 국민건강보험공단 김해지사 등 생활 밀접 기관·단체들이다.

발대식은 행복지킴이단 200명이 참석한 가운데 김해 행복지킴이단 운영 안내, 위기가구 발굴 활동 매뉴얼 교육, 활동 영상 시청에 이어 김해 행복지킴이단 참여 단체와의 업무 협약 체결, 김해 행복지킴이 대표 선서 등으로 진행됐다.

홍태용 시장은 "지역 곳곳에서 활동하시는 김해 행복지킴이단 여러분의 작은 관심과 손길이 어려운 이웃들에게 삶의 희망이 될 수 있다"며 "시에서도 어려움 속에서 소외되고 보호받지 못하는 이웃 없이, 모두 함께 살아가는 따뜻한 행복도시 김해가 될 수 있도록 행복지킴이단과 함께 힘을 모아 나가겠다"고 말했다.
