[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해 대동첨단일반산업단지 개발사업이 지난 30일 준공 인가를 받고 개발완료했다.
김해시 대동면 280만6,746㎡ 부지에 300여 개의 기업체(산업시설용지)와 각종 지원시설, 공동주택, 복합시설 등이 들어설 예정인 대동첨단일반산단은 부산광역시에 인접하고 고속도로 등 교통 요충지에 위치해 있다.
정상 가동되면 2만5,652명 고용유발, 5조6,075억원 생산유발 효과가 기대된다.
향후 산업단지 진입도로 개설로 국가지원지방도 69호선과 초정화명대교와의 연결성이 향상돼 입주기업에 추가적인 이점을 제공하게 된다.
지난 2017년 산업단지계획 승인으로 총사업비 1조 4,000억여 원이 투입된 초대형 민관합동개발사업인 대동첨단일반산단은 올 2월 준공 인가 예정이었으나 준공 인가 직전인 지난 1월 11일 건설출자자인 ㈜태영건설의 워크아웃이라는 최대 악재로 준공이 불투명해지며 입주 예정 기업들의 혼란을 초래했다.
이에 김해시는 사업 정상화 행정 지원을 위해 김해시의회의 적극적인 협조 속에 제1회 추가경정예산을 편성해 공공시설용지 매입 예산을 조기 확보했다.
또 조속 준공을 위한 공공시설물 관리부서의 행정지원 약속 등 김해시 지원 대책을 마련해 PF 대주단에게 제출하는 등 입주예정자 피해 최소화를 위한 적극적인 행정지원 끝에 준공을 맞이했다.
대내외적인 악조건 속에서도 산업단지 개발사업을 성공적으로 완수한 김해시는 기업과 투자자들에게 ‘투자해도 좋은 곳’이라는 확신을 심어 주는 동시에 투자 유치를 위한 다양한 정책과 산업단지 지원 프로그램을 마련해 기업하기 좋은 도시로서의 입지를 강화할 방침이다.
김해시 관계자는 “어려운 여건 속에서도 산업단지 준공을 이뤄냈으며 지역경제 활성화와 일자리 창출로 이어질 수 있도록 하겠다”며 “앞으로도 기업 활동을 지원하고 투자 환경을 개선하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
