윤석열 대통령 내외가 15일(현지시간) 중앙아시아 3국 국빈 순방을 마치고 마지막 방문국 우즈베키스탄 사마르칸트 국제공항에서 출국했다.
윤 대통령과 부인 김건희 여사는 이날 유네스코 세계문화유산 고도 사마르칸트 방문 후 오후 4시 40분께 우즈벡 사마르칸트 국제공항에서 대통령 전용기 공군 1호기에 올라 한국으로 향했다.
샤브카트 미르지요예프 우즈벡 대통령과 부인 지로아트 미르지요예바 여사가 직접 공군 1호기 앞까지 윤 대통령 내외를 환송한 가운데 미르지요예프 대통령 차녀 부부도 동행했다.
윤 대통령은 미르지요예프 대통령에게 "감사합니다. 씨 유 어게인(See you again.다시 만나자)"이라고 인사하며 포옹했고, 미르지요예프 대통령은 "이번 방문이 굉장히 만족스러웠고 좋은 성과가 있었다. 편안한 여행 되시길 바란다"고 화답 후 김 여사에게도 감사 인사를 전했다.
윤 대통령 내외는 16일 새벽 경기 성남 서울공항에 도착해 중앙아시아 3국 제반 순방 일정을 모두 마무리한다. 윤 대통령은 향후 개각 등 국내 현안 해결에 집중할 것으로 보인다.
