[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 부울경 초광역권 중심으로서 국제물류 허브도시로 도약하기 위해 6월 김해 동북아 물류플랫폼 구축 기본계획 용역에 착수했다.
김해 동북아 물류플랫폼은 민선8기 제1호 공약사업이다.
국가기반시설인 가덕도 신공항, 부산·진해 신항만에 인접한 배후도시인 김해시는 도로 및 철도가 연계되어 부울경 경제권 및 SOC 기반시설의 지리적 중심지로서 사통팔달 교통망으로 접근성이 매우 용이하다.
김해시는 트라이포트를 기반으로 한 국가 스마트 물류 플랫폼 구축 계획에 대비하여 동북아시아의 물류 허브 도시로 발돋움하고자 동북아 물류플랫폼 유치에 혼신의 노력을 다하고 있다.
제5차 국토종합계획 및 국가물류기본계획 등에 동북아 물류플랫폼이 반영됨에 따라 국가 상위계획과 발맞춰 김해시는 기본구상 용역을 추진했으며, 후속 조치로 금번 기본계획 용역에 착수했다.
이번 용역을 통하여 기본구상에서 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 도입시설 및 사업 규모 검토, 부문별 기본계획, 기술적·경제적 타당성 등을 검토할 예정으로 과업기간은 1년이다.
김해시 관계자는 “지난 5월 동북아 물류플랫폼 조성사업에 대하여 개발제한구역 해제 총량 외 사업으로 추진하고자 개발제한구역 규제혁신 전략사업으로 국토부에 신청했으며, 본 용역을 통하여 시 구상안 구체화 및 국가정책사업에 반영토록 하여 동북아 물류플랫폼을 꼭 유치할 수 있도록 국토부에 지속 건의, 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gimhae City started the Gimhae Northeast Asia Logistics Platform Basic Plan Service in June to leap forward as an international logistics hub city as the center of the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam metropolitan area.
The Gimhae Northeast Asia Logistics Platform is the first public promise project of the 8th local government.
Gimhae City, a hinterland city adjacent to the national infrastructure facilities of Gadeokdo New Airport and Busan-Jinhae New Port, is a geographical center of the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam economic zone and SOC infrastructure with easy access through a well-developed transportation network with roads and railways.
Gimhae City is making every effort to attract the Northeast Asia Logistics Platform in preparation for the plan to build a national smart logistics platform based on Triport and to emerge as a logistics hub city in Northeast Asia.
As the Northeast Asia Logistics Platform is reflected in the 5th National Land Comprehensive Plan and the National Logistics Basic Plan, Gimhae City has been conducting basic planning services in line with the national upper-level plans, and has started this basic planning service as a follow-up measure.
