[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 디지털 무역 확산을 위해 대한무역투자진흥공사(코트라)에서 전국 주요 도시에 구축 중인 디지털무역종합지원센터가 김해시에 문을 열었다.

김해시는 27일 김해중소기업비즈니스센터 1층에서 김해 덱스터 개소식을 개최하고 현판 제막과 현장을 둘러보는 시간을 가졌다.

이 자리에는 홍태용 김해시장, 전춘우 코트라 부사장, 관내 기업대표, 인제대학생 등 50여 명이 참석해 개소를 축하했다.

김해 덱스터는 온라인 방식의 수출을 원하는 기업체는 물론이고 소상공인, 시민 누구나 이용할 수 있으며, 수출 제품의 사진 콘텐츠 제작과 거래플랫폼(buyKOREA) 등록, 바이어 상담 서비스를 제공하고 무역 관련 취업·창업자 대상의 디지털무역 실무인력 교육도 진행한다.

이를 통해 수출 문턱을 낮추고 기업 수요에 알맞은 바이어를 제공하여 실질적인 수출 증대 및 실무인력 양성을 통한 청년 일자리 확대에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

홍태용 시장은 “김해 덱스터 개소가 관내 9,400여개 기업체에게 수출의 물꼬를 트는 마중물이 되길 바란다”며 “수출하기 더 좋은 환경을 조성해 우리 기업들이 국내외에서 더욱 빛날 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

한편 김해시는 덱스터 활성화를 위한 기업홍보 활동과 함께 10월 초 무역사절단 파견을 시작으로 글로벌 수출박람회 참가 지원, 국제조선해양 수출 상담회 지원 등으로 하반기에도 관내 수출기업 지원에 힘쓴다.
