한수원, 여름맞이 에너지팜 모바일 스탬프투어 진행

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(사장 황주호, 이하 한수원)은 7월 1일부터 10월 31일까지 4개월간 한수원‘에너지팜 모바일 스탬프투어’이벤트를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 이벤트는 한수원 홍보관인 ‘에너지팜’을 둘러보며 전기 에너지 원리에 대해 알아가고, 주변 관광지도 함께 즐길 수 있는 여름맞이 이벤트다.

이벤트 참여를 원하는 국민은 누구나 전국의 한수원 에너지팜 가운데 2곳 이상을 방문하고 스탬프(방문 도장) 미션을 인증하면 된다. 한수원은 이후 추첨을 통해 소정의 문화상품권을 증정할 예정이다.

에너지팜은 경주 한수원 본사와 4개 원전본부(고리, 월성, 한울, 한빛), 2개 양수발전소(양양, 무주) 등 전국에 모두 7곳이 있다.

참여 방법은 먼저 스마트폰에서 ‘스탬프 투어’ 앱(App)을 내려받아 회원가입 후 ‘에너지팜 모바일 스탬프투어’를 방문하면 된다. 관람을 원하는 에너지팜을 찾아가면 앱에서 GPS가 위치를 인식해 스탬프가 자동으로 찍힌다.

김정호한수원 홍보실장은 “에너지팜 모바일 스탬프투어 이벤트를 통해 방학을 맞은 학생들에게 과학기술에 대한 이해를 높이는 것은 물론, 발전소 주변 지역경제 활성화에도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”며, “앞으로도 한수원은 많은 국민들이 참여할 수 있고, 지역에 도움이 되는 다채로운 이벤트를 진행할 계획”이라고 말했다.

KHNP holds summer energy farm mobile stamp tour

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (CEO Hwang Joo-ho, hereinafter referred to as KHNP) announced that it will run the KHNP ‘Energy Farm Mobile Stamp Tour’ event for four months from July 1 to October 31.

This event is a summer event where you can learn about the principles of electrical energy by touring ‘Energy Farm’, the KHNP’s promotional center, and also enjoy nearby tourist attractions.

Anyone who wants to participate in the event can visit at least two of the KHNP energy farms across the country and certify the stamp mission. KHNP plans to give away a small amount of cultural gift certificates through a lottery.

Energy Farm has a total of seven locations across the country, including the Gyeongju KHNP headquarters, four nuclear power plant headquarters (Gori, Wolseong, Hanul, and Hanbit), and two pumped storage power plants (Yangyang and Muju).

To participate, first download the ‘Stamp Tour’ app on your smartphone, sign up as a member, and then visit ‘Energy Farm Mobile Stamp Tour’. When you go to the energy farm you want to see, the app recognizes your location using GPS and automatically stamps it.

Kim Jeong-ho, head of the KHNP's public relations department, said, "We expect that the Energy Farm Mobile Stamp Tour event will not only increase the understanding of science and technology among students on vacation, but also help revitalize the local economy around the power plant." He added, "KHNP will continue to support many people in the future. “We plan to hold a variety of events that people can participate in and that are helpful to the region,” he said.
