[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 제54회 경상남도 공예품대전에서 25년 연속 최우수 단체상을 수상했다고 2일 밝혔다.
경남공예품대전은 우수공예품을 발굴 시상함으로써 공예산업의 발전을 도모하고 우수공예품 판로 개척과 확대에 기여하고 있다.
이번 공예품대전에 김해시는 총 58명이 출품해 21명이 개인상을 수상했고 단체 부분에서 최우수상을 받아 지난 2000년부터 25년 연속 최우수 기관상의 영예를 안았다.
대상작은 김해 가람도예 주은정 작가의 ‘가야의 전설’이 받아 공예도시의 위상을 높였다.
백토를 판상기법으로 제작해 초벌과 재벌을 거쳐 금리작업으로 마무리 했고 김해 대성동고분군에서 출토된 파형동기 작품을 문양에 응용해 높은 평가를 받았다.
특선 이상 수상자 12명은 대한민국 공예품대전 참가 자격이 주어지며 대한민국 공예품대전 기간 내 전시판매관 우선 전시, 2025년 공예품 개발장려금 지원시 가점 부여, 경상남도 추천상품 QC 지정 시 우대 특전이 주어진다.
수상작은 1~2일 창원 3.15아트센터에서 전시된다.

Gimhae City announced on the 2nd that it won the Best Group Award for 25 consecutive years at the 54th Gyeongsangnam-do Craft Fair.
The Gyeongnam Craft Fair promotes the development of the craft industry by discovering and awarding excellent crafts and contributes to the development and expansion of sales channels for excellent crafts.
A total of 58 people participated in this craft fair, and 21 won individual awards and the best award in the group category, earning the honor of Best Organization Award for 25 consecutive years since 2000.
The grand prize winner was ‘Legend of Gaya’ by Gimhae Garam Ceramics artist Joo Eun-jeong, elevating the status of the craft city.
It was made using the white clay plate technique, and after the first and second rounds, it was finished with the gold-plating process, and the wave-shaped bronze work excavated from the Daeseong-dong Ancient Tombs in Gimhae was applied to the pattern and received high praise.
The 12 winners of the special prize or higher are eligible to participate in the Korea Crafts Competition and will be given priority for exhibition and sales during the Korea Crafts Competition, will be given extra points when applying for the 2025 Crafts Development Incentive Grant, and will be given preferential treatment when designated as a QC for Gyeongsangnam-do recommended products.
The winning works will be exhibited at the Changwon 3.15 Art Center for 1-2 days.
